Social Media Marketing Specialist Job

This is a remote position with a regional office in Assumption, Illinois.

AGCO Grain & Protein is seeking a marketing specialist to help develop and implement marketing plans for the AP, Cumberland and GSI brands in North America.
Marketing activities include a mix of digital and traditional marketing tactics.
The marketing specialist will assist in the development of the strategies and lead the strategy execution.

This is a remote position with a regional office in Assumption, Illinois.

Responsibilities

Social Media

  • Responsible for day-to-day management of AP, Cumberland and GSI social media channels, including strategy development, publishing, community management/moderation and reporting.
  • Plan and execute paid and organic social media initiatives.
    This includes setting up, managing and optimizing ad campaigns in social advertising platforms.
  • Manage social media reporting efforts for channels and campaigns, ensuring accurate data and actionable insights are delivered to continually optimize performance.
  • Stay up-to-date on social media trends and platform developments and share findings with the marketing team.

Marketing Strategy and Execution

  • Collaborate with the NA Marketing Manager and other key team members to support strategic planning efforts, including the development of annual plans, product launch plans and integrated campaigns.
  • Lead implementation of annual marketing, public relations, paid advertising, dealer marketing and product launch plans.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables.

Dealer Communication and Marketing

  • Manage dealer communication via Mail Chimp and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
    This includes database management, development of email content and distribution.
  • Oversee AP, Cumberland and GSI dealer co-op marketing program, including management of co-op funds and dealer reimbursements.
  • Work with sales team and key dealers to develop and implement dealer specific strategic marketing campaigns.

Content Creation

  • Research industry-related topics to understand swine, poultry and grain farmer needs.
    Develop monthly channel editorial calendars.
  • Lead the creation of social media content for the swine, poultry and grain audience.
    Coordinate with the design team on the creation of visuals.
  • Assist with the creation of website, literature, paid advertising and blog content.
  • Assist with the development of internal and external communications.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of agency or marketing-related field experience.
  • Degree in marketing, public relations, journalism, communications, business, or related field is preferred.
  • Exceptional writing skills.
  • Aptitude in Office 365 products, as well as Social Studio, Sprout Social and Mail Chimp.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management skills.
  • Great communication skills, with an ability to effectively collaborate with others.
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Agricultural experience and/or farm background preferred.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
