By joining Insight Enterprises as a Senior SharePoint Engineer, you will enter a tech-savvy and high-energy world. We provide the hardware, software, and support-services for our customers' most critical IT projects. As such, we're looking for a Senior SharePoint Engineer to help with the design, enhancements & maintenance of a current SharePoint online environment.
Please note, this will be a fully remote position for the next 6
months. Target compensation is $70-$80/hr on our W2.
What you will be doing:
- Review, design, enhancements, updates, administration and Support the current SharePoint environment.
- Server as an escalation point for team members
- Troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
What you need to join:
- At least 7 years of relevant SharePoint experience in an enterprise environment, including at least 3years of Sharepoint online.
- Experience with and good understanding of all SharePoint features, including site mailboxes, eDiscovery, Legal Hold, Enterprise search, etc.
- Experience with Nintex for SharePoint workflow, automation, etc.
- Experience with SharePoint backups, policies, recovery, etc.
- Experience supporting end users.
- Good understanding of SharePoint best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work through an issue from start to finish. Including working with Microsoft Support, carriers, etc.
- Ability to provide afterhours support for escalations as necessary.
- Solid understanding of network & cloud fundamentals
- Good understanding of the change management process and best practices.
- Good communication skills, both oral & written.
- Ability to work with multiple teams dispersed across multiple locations
Nice to have:
- Relevant Microsoft certifications are highly preferred.
- Powershell experience and knowledge is a plus.
- SharePoint on-premise experience is a plus.
