As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible to support Product Management project lists with manufacturing launch of New and Current Product Significant Changes.
This will include developing micro schedules in support of Manufacturing Engineering function to ensure all project milestones are completed timely.
You will also be responsible for providing processes designed to enable Operations to effectively meet and exceed Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost targets.
This will be completed by analysing and maximizing efficient workflow, layout and assembly methods.

Your Impact

  • Responsible for the design and development for all jigs and fixtures for NPI/CPC projects.
  • Responsible for documenting work instructions, time study analysis.
  • Work with peers to ensure that all new or redesigned production systems meet or exceed OSHA requirements.
  • Complete and document IPPAP for new product / component launches
  • Execution of tasks will be in accordance with APS and AQS tools and methodologies

Your Skills

  • Education

    Bachelor s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical Engineering/Technology or related field.

    Qualifications and Experience

  • 2
    years ME and/or IE experience
  • Project Management software and development experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Engineering documentation and Quality Management Systems
  • Understanding of work cell and facility layout, assembly line balancing, and material flow analysis.
  • Familiarity with metal fabrication, welding, light assembly, kitting processes
  • Strong technical, process focused resource with a deep understanding of optimization.
  • Able to identify, analyse in a structured way and find practical solutions to on-going process issues.
    A proven problem solver
  • Design experience for Manufacturing Tooling / Fixtures / Jigs
  • Project Management software and development experience required.
    Strong Computer Skills including:
    MS Office, Visio, Auto-Cad or Pro-E
  • Ability to read and understand blue prints and technical specifications required
